Mental health IN SCHOOL
In England, 1 in 8 five to 19-year-olds have some form of mental health problem.
This means that it is very likely that there will be children with mental health issues in our school, who need our support.
It is vital to ensure that our school is a mentally healthy school. As a mentally healthy school we see positive mental health and wellbeing as fundamental to its values, mission and culture. We are a mentally healthy school as we have aa whole-school approach, involving governors, senior leaders, teachers and all school staff, as well as parents, carers and the wider community.
