IntRA-school competitions

As part of the Schools Games Mark we are required to provide the children with intra-school competitions (level 1). This provides every child with the opportunity to compete in sporting events. We already run the intra-school competition throughout sports day and during our fitness fortnight/week.

We will be running intra-school competitions every half term, with the focus coinciding with the P.E lessons taught throughout that half term. Our aim is to provide these competitions in order to raise the profile of sport in school and encourage team work within the houses. This will essentially help to promote the school games values to our children too.

Spring Term 2018

This half term we chose dodgeball as our inter-house competition. Years 2,3,4,5 and 6 all took part in the competition. It was between Kolbe and Lourdes but it was Lourdes who managed to gain the ‘House Champion’ title. Well done Lourdes.
